Top Point Guards from the 2025 NBA draft. After going over the top Centers, we will now look at the top Point Guards in the upcoming 2025 draft.
1- Dylan Harper- 19 years old 6’7” Rutgers Guard.

Son of Ron Harper and brother of Ron Harper Jr., Dylan has great size for the position, and plays well on both sides of the ball. He can get to the rim, draw fouls, good passer that has worked on his decision making, and can guard multiple positions. He will need to work on his outside shot and needs to get better at guarding quicker players, but there is a lot of potential here.
2- Nolan Traore- 19 years old 6’5” French Guard out of Quentin.

Yet another amazing prospect from France, Traore is a great passer and floor general. He shows promise as an outside shooter and is incredibly fast, making it easy for him to get into the lane.
3- Dink Pate- 19 year old 6’8” Guard for the G League Mexico City Capitanes.

Long and tall, Pate has great size and uses it to his advantage when getting into the lane with a head of steam. He has good touch around the rim, but while he shows promise with his outside shot, he still has work to do with it.
4- Boogie Fland- 19 year old 6’3” Arkansas Guard.

Fland is a combo guard who excels at getting to the rim. While not a pass-first point guard, Fland has improved his passing over the last few seasons to be a solid distributor. He is a good shooter, but will need to continue to improve in order to reach his full potential.
5- Tyrese Proctor- 20 year old 6’5” Duke Guard.

Excellent passer, great size, but didn’t shoot well last season. However, his high free throw percentage should translate to improved shooting from outside. Has good defensive potential, but hasn’t translated yet. Definitely one to watch potentially move up the board.
6- Kylan Boswell- 19 year old 6’2” Illinois Guard.

Elite in the pick-and-roll and in transition, Boswell sets up his teammates well. He is also shooting well outside the paint. Boswell is a little undersized and not a great defender, but he can make up for his limitations on defense with his offense.
7- Hunter Sallis- 21 year old 6’4” Wake Forrest Guard.

Great shooter, but needs to improve as a primary playmaker, not just as a secondary playmaker. If Sallis can prove he can play as the lead guard, he can move up the list. If not, he may start to slide.
8- Mark Sears- 22 year old 5’11” Alabama Guard

Though under 6 foot, he is very talented and makes up for size with heart and hustle. Ceiling is not high, but he can be a great spark off of the bench by providing excellent facilitation and clutch baskets when needed.
9- Elliot Cadeau- 19 year old 6’2” North Carolina Guard.

Pure Point Guard that can pass and score. Athletic, but his size hurts his ability to score over length. Good shooter overall. Gambles on defense and likes to go for the home-run play a little too much with his passing.
10- Thierry Darlan- 20 year old 6’6” Former G League Ignite Guard from Central African Republic

Long, strong, and athletic guard with a lot of potential, but he is still plenty raw. Formerly played on the G League Ignite, but now that the Ignite is no more, Darlan will have to start fresh with a new team and show some improvements after his past injury-riddled year.
